Awana, which is an acronym for “approved workmen are not ashamed” (based on 2 Timothy 2:15), is an international program designed for children age 2 – grade 6. The program helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Founded over 50 years ago, Awana is a weekly club designed to appeal to churched and non-churched kids. Its motivation is to train and prepare young people for life by helping them to hide God’s Word in their hearts and apply it to their lives.
Weekly Clubs — Awana Clubs at Christ Fellowship meet each Wednesday during the school year from 6:30-8:00 p.m. A typical club meeting consists three 30-minute segments including Scripture memorization, working on lesson books, and games. Children are divided into groups based on their age:
• Puggles (ages 18 months to age 2)
• Cubbies (age 3 to preschool)
• Sparks (kindergarten to grade 2)
• Truth & Training (grade 3-6)

Awana Cancellation Policy — Our Awana program operates on the same schedule as the Williamson County school system. If schools are cancelled due to inclement weather, then church activities will be cancelled as well. And, you can always check the church web on our Community Connection page for the latest news on cancellations.
Christ Fellowship has an Awana page on Facebook. It is a restricted site. To join, go to “Christ Fellowship Awana Program” after logging onto your Facebook account and request to become a member of the group.
