About Christ Fellowship

Christ Fellowship views missions as one of our main family ministries. We consider everyone part of our Missions Team, some are going, others are sending. Some for short-term, some for long-term. Our Missions Ministries don't all take place somewhere around the world. There are growing areas right here in the Nashville and Franklin areas of Tennessee.

If you're learning about your place in God's plan to bring the Good News of Jesus to people,

  • begin by exploring the community right around you for areas to serve,
  • then get connected with our Mission Coordinator for additional help and information about your short-term involvement, both locally or in a distant country,
  • now, pick that place where the skills, talents, abilities, and gifts the Lord has invested in you can be best put to service so the Good News of Jesus is proclaimed.

Local Missions

Local areas include Graceworks, nursing homes, assistance in after school tutoring programs, Young Life, and more. Contact our Missions Coordinator for places you can serve.

Short Term International Missions

Croatia

Since 1991 Christ Fellowship has been a part of the ministry in Croatia indirectly through our support of Dorsey and Renee McIntosh. In 1997, we took a different form of ministry in Croatia when we decided to send our first short term international missions team to personally minister in Croatia. Since then we have sent 3 more teams over to work with college students and with the Jesus Film Ministry. This year we are committed to praying for the ongoing ministry in Croatia and for those who minister there as the ministries we were a part of can now be handled by the National Staff in Croatia!

The Czech Republic-Prague

The Czech Republic is a country in Eastern Europe where less than 1% of the population knows Christ many more know about Him, but they don't know Him personally. Interestingly, Czechs are not antagonistic towards Christianity, they simply don't think it is relevant to their lives.

Christ Fellowship will send a short-term team to the Czech Republic on March 4 to help establish a platform for on-going ministry in this country. We will work with university students in Prague as we teach English, and we will help show the Jesus Film in villages outside of Prague.

It is our prayer that as Czechs see the difference Christ makes in the team member's lives, it will impact them dramatically causing them to see their need for a personal relationship with Christ as well.
